Our Story

Lisa and Zac JOINED THE NATIONAL CHI ALPHA TEAM IN 2020 and serve as the MARKETPLACE AS MISSION SPECIALISTS. They have three adult children and have been a part of Church Planting throughout Boulder County Colorado since 2009 and served as Lead Pastor until 2017 and then served as the East Slope Church planting director. Prior to that they were Associate Pastors at Highpoint Church in the Denver Metro Area and before that were Youth Pastors for more than a decade in Northern California.

Zac and Lisa were both born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Zac came to faith when he was 15 years old through a Christ centered rehab program in the East Bay. Coming from a background of gangs and drugs, Zac immediately felt the call to ministry and at 18 years old and became the youngest licensed minister with the Assemblies of God at that time.

While attending Bethany University where Zac received a BA in Church Leadership, he proposed to Lisa there in Santa Cruz, CA. As miracles would happen, she said yes!  Zac earned his Master’s degree in Christian Studies from Denver Seminary and Lisa completed her Bachelors Degree from Southwestern University.

Zac is a guest speaker at several churches throughout Colorado and the US. He also does training around strategic planning, virtual systems, social media, productivity, and church planting. He is a guest speaker at churches of all sizes and speaks for camps and teaches for the Rocky Mountain Network School of Ministry. Zac is an Ordained Minister and a nationally-appointed US Missionary with the Assemblies of God.

Lisa is an Ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and regularly speaks at churches, retreats, and corporate events. Lisa is a part of the Servant Executive Team for the Campus2City Bridge, a gathering of campus ministries and church multiplication movements. Lisa is a coach, facilitator, and field trainer and has worked over 15 years in the corporate world primarily in the areas of business management and learning & leadership development. Before joining Chi Alpha full time, she served as Senior Learning Manager and led the national field learning team for Banfield, a billion dollar corporation and subsidiary of Mars Global, one of the largest privately owned companies in the world. Lisa is passionate about empowering believers to fulfill their mission to reach the people God has placed in their daily lives.

Josiah graduated from North Central University in Minneapolis in May of 2023 and married Kyrie. They live in Springfield, MO with their dog Luffy.

Allie is in her senior year at Evangel University with a BS in Math focusing on Data Science and three minors: Computer Science, Interculturall Studies, and Biblilcal Studies. She works at Costco and is proudly forklift certified :).

Zoe is attending University of Colorado (Boulder), and recently married Isidro. They are studying at the Leeds School of Business, and holding down the fort in Denver, CO.
